Inclusive Education Specialist

Qualifications:

  • MN Teaching License (Tier 3 or 4)
  • Endorsement in Emotional Disorders
  • Experience with IEP responsibilities, including due process completion preferred
  • Expertise in the subject area; familiarity with case management, compliance, and IEP documentation
  • A minimum of one year of experience teaching students with diverse disabilities, including behavioral disorders and cognitive delays, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
  • Demonstrated initiative and capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to remain in a standing or seated position for extended periods; proficient in reading both digital and printed materials; capable of hearing and understanding speech at normal levels; able to articulate clearly in person and over the phone; and adept at following both oral and written instructions. The role may involve frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to approximately 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Position Overview:
  • The specifics of the caseload and classroom type will vary based on the educational setting.

  • This is a contracted position for 40 hours per week.
  • The contract aligns with the academic district calendar.
As an Inclusive Education Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating dynamic and engaging learning environments

Compensation:
  • Hourly rate ranges from $48 to $55.
  • Based on a 37.5-hour workweek: weekly earnings between $1,687.50 and $2,062.50.
  • Projected annual salary for the school year: $60,750 to $74,250.
