Responsibilities as a Sales Operations Specialist
  • Oversee and coordinate sales initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales Department and Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams
  • Manage multiple tasks in an organized manner while fostering professional relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Provide sales support to customers, including project requests, formal quotations, and order entries
  • Maintain accurate and current records of all customer interactions
  • Monitor ongoing projects within the Tech Center
  • Communicate project updates effectively with Sales Management, Account Managers, and clients
  • Assist the sales team in driving cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts for clients
  • Schedule and track the progress of new orders from initiation to final approval
  • Potentially identify and develop new client accounts through follow-ups and management of select accounts
  • Support the consolidation of information for major bid proposals
  • Manage customer feedback requests as necessary
  • Obtain pricing and quotes for specific projects and required tools
  • Provide pricing information to support Manufacturer Representatives as needed
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, and monthly reports
  • Arrange travel and other logistics, purchase office supplies, and manage petty cash
  • Coordinate customer inquiries and visits
  • Manage a select group of low-volume accounts through phone and in-person interactions
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
