Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with your experience, skills, education, and training. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide:

Job Description

The DevOps/Software Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our spacecraft and launch vehicle software development projects. Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
  2. Automating development and release processes
  3. Testing software systems to ensure quality and reliability
  4. Collaborating with the development team to understand project requirements and identify potential issues
  5. Documenting defects and issues found during testing
  6. Working with software developers to ensure adherence to established processes
  7. Participating in project management decisions and planning projects
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field (equivalent combination of education and experience considered)
  • 5+ years of experience in spacecraft and/or launch vehicle software development
  • Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
  • Experience with Bash scripting, Linux network management, and network debugging
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft software systems, as well as expertise in C/C++ flight software, test software, and simulation software, are highly valued. Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment and strong coordination, organization, and communication skills are also essential.Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility in scheduling, which may vary depending on program needs
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
