Overview:

At Blanchard Machinery Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Parts Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team.

As a critical member of our inventory management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our parts inventory.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accurate inventory levels

* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and errors

* Maintain a high degree of accuracy for counts and data entry

* Identify products and units of measure

* Perform regular housekeeping and straightening of inventory to optimize warehouse space

* Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory accuracy issues

* Research and resolve inventory discrepancies

* Complete required bin transfers and inventory relocations

* Ensure inventory stores adhere to CAT Contamination Standards

* Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* High school diploma required

* 1-3 years warehouse experience preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft office tools, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams

* Ability to adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements

* Strong work ethic and self-starter

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Good judgment and decision-making skills

* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

* High commitment to completing tasks in a timely manner

Working Conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily inside throughout the day, however this position may also require working in non-climate-controlled environments as well as outdoors.

Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.

Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting. Must be able to lift varied weights up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
