Position Overview

Joseph, Hollander & Craft LLC is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant to enhance our Family Law practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including drafting legal documents, managing case files, and providing comprehensive administrative support to our attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare legal correspondence and pleadings.
  • Assist in the discovery process and manage attorney calendars.
  • Provide clerical and organizational support to multiple legal professionals.

  • Manage multiple projects effectively while participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Certification such as ALS, PLS, or CPS, or a paralegal certificate may substitute for experience. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of legal terminology and court filing procedures, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
