Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lowcountry Medical Practice Management. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to adults and children, including medication prescription review and various treatment modalities.
Responsibilities- Partner with counselors and therapists to support clients during their mental health journey.
- Create medication plans and provide supportive psychotherapy as needed.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment recommendations.
- Use evidence-based practices and proprietary data to optimize care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Current PMHNP License in the state of Alabama.
- Board certification (AANP or ANCC).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathetic and intuitive listener.
- Rapport building skills on a virtual platform and face-to-face.
- Computer literate.
- Comfortable prescribing for anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and ADHD.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
