We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders to ensure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
- Monitor patient profiles to ensure accuracy, drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, rational drug therapy, and incompatibilities.
- Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Prepare IV admixtures and extemporaneous parenteral products under aseptic conditions.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff members.
- Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Nevada.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
