Job Title: Diesel Mechanic II

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic II to join our team at PrimeFlight Aviation Services. As a Diesel Mechanic II, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of a wide range of ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in ground support equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when performing maintenance work
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
  • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, ideally with ground support equipment in an aviation environment
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems effectively
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in various environmental conditions
  • Flexibility with working hours, including availability for shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays
