We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Job DescriptionThis role requires a highly skilled nurse with experience in wound care management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with various types of wounds, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients and their families on wound management techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' needs and develop comprehensive care plans to promote optimal wound healing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound management techniques, including dressing changes, debridement, and pressure ulcer prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including wound measurements, treatments, and outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license
- At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
LocationThis role is based at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including PRN days.
