Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Review and transcribe patient charts and medications to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Ensure proper handling and record-keeping of drugs, poisons, and narcotics in accordance with Department policies, federal and state laws, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and services to inmates.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a licentiate in pharmacy issued by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Eligibility for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered.
Working Conditions

Travel may be required. The monthly salary range for this position is $3,638.70 to $4,332.00.
