The Culinary Department Head at Elegance Inc is responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional dining experiences. As a seasoned professional in the food service industry, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of meal preparation and service, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Job Summary

This is a critical role that requires a strong leader who can manage resources, control expenses, and ensure compliance with special diets offered by the community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing staff, developing menu programs, and maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and control all activities of the Culinary Services Department
  • Manage and direct team members to provide high-quality service to residents
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure safe food handling practices
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for all receipts and expenses
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food services preparation and two years' managing staff required
  • Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements include Current Serv/Safe Certification, local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates
