Role Overview

As an SAP WM Lead, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module. Your role involves managing end-to-end SAP WM projects, ensuring effective integration with RF devices, and overseeing the setup and migration of warehouse management processes. You will lead teams, collaborate with business units to tailor SAP WM solutions to their needs, and ensure that documentation and training are thoroughly managed to support successful system adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • SAP WM Configuration and Optimization
  • Expertise in Handling Units Management
  • Configure and optimize SAP WM functionalities to align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Customize and manage handling units (HUs) and ensure seamless integration with SAP WM processes.
  • RF Device Integration and Troubleshooting
  • Configure and manage RF devices to integrate effectively with SAP WM.
  • Implement RF functionalities for critical warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RF device operations and ensure smooth workflow integration.
  • Project Management and Team Leadership
  • Lead at least two full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, managing all phases from Project Preparation to Go-Live.
  • Oversee one or two roll-out and support projects, ensuring successful adaptation and functionality of SAP WM in different operational contexts.
  • Effectively lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Documentation and Training
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP WM processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for current and future reference.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP WM functionalities.
  • Provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer to ensure users are proficient in using SAP WM.
Requirements
  • Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience
  • At least two full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations involving SAP WM, demonstrating end-to-end project management expertise.
  • Experience in managing roll-out and support projects related to SAP WM.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading teams and managing complex SAP WM configurations.
  • Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration, including handling units management and RF device integration.
  • Proficiency in configuring RF devices for warehouse operations and integrating them with SAP WM processes.
  • Experience with migration and loading of WM and handling unit stocks.
