The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. As a RN, you will work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate resident needs, developing and implementing care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care, including medication management, wound care, and rehabilitation services.
- Provide education and support to residents and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks and providing guidance to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, with multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
