Neuro-Interventionalist with Vascular Neurology Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro-Interventionalist with Vascular Neurology Expertise to join our team at Edward Elmhurst Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing advanced neuro-interventional procedures, managing and treating vascular neurological disorders, and collaborating with other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Advanced Neuro-Interventional Procedures: Conduct endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography to treat cerebrovascular conditions.
- Manage and Treat Vascular Neurological Disorders: Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with Specialists: Work with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in Clinical Research: Engage in research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology.
- Train Future Neurologists: Participate in academic appointments and train the next generation of neurologists.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Radiology with subspecialty certification in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
- Qualifications: MD or DO degree with completed residency in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Radiology; fellowship training in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
- License: Illinois Medical or pending.
