Overview

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. This internship will provide students with hands-on experience in transportation data collection and analysis, working on projects that make a significant and positive impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with transportation data collection and analysis
  • Complete reports and documentation on traffic data collection
  • Participate in construction field inspection and staking operations
  • Complete Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs) and other DOT reports
  • Measure and compute item quantities installed on the project
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Prior experience in the transportation field preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Desire to learn more about transportation engineering projects in a consulting industry
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
