Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Specialist to join our team at Johnsonville, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for consistently manufacturing high-quality sausage products according to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Manufacture sausage products to meet quality and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with other packaging team members to achieve World Class packaging results
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technology in the packaging department
  • Develop and maintain a strong set of skills in packaging and manufacturing
  • Actively participate in daily team meetings and project teams
  • Set and achieve personal and team goals to support the Johnsonville Way
  • Perform packaging tasks on the production line, including lifting and moving boxes and pallets
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to complete production documentation accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Basic computer skills and ability to participate in a team environment
