We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team at Inspira Health Network. As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients' healthcare benefits cover inpatient admissions and observation stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefit coverage
  • Submit hospital Notice of Admission for emergent admissions and observation stays
  • Obtain required insurance authorizations
  • Work with payers to resolve insurance-related issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with medical insurance plans and products
  • Proficiency in working with payer online portals, such as Medicare and Medicaid
  • Basic knowledge of medical diagnoses and procedure codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
