Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Irvine, California. As a Senior Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall development and management of expanding construction management services in the Southern California region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business development and establish new contacts
  • Maintain existing client relationships and market construction management projects
  • Accept responsibility as Resident Engineer of CM projects
  • Provide comprehensive construction management and contract administration on complex public works construction projects
  • Represent Cannon before public agencies, consultants, and contractors
  • Support activities associated with construction management, contract administration, and contract planning/execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Management and Civil Engineering
  • California P.E. license in Civil Engineering required
  • Experience in management of client relationships and expanding CM services
  • Knowledge and experience in construction safety, earthwork, grading, drainage construction, streets, roads, and transportation structures
  • Knowledge and experience in water/sewer/storm drain infrastructure construction and in traffic control within the construction zone
  • Knowledge and experience with the implementation of State and Federal funding provisions, water regulations, and document coordination
  • Valid, clean driver's license as regular daily travel is required
