Safety Supervisor Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of all company operations and employees in the State of Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road construction and be able to implement and supervise a comprehensive safety program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a safety program that meets OSHA requirements and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinate medical care for injured employees and ensure timely reporting of incidents.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in safety training and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree in Safety or Construction preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 500 Trainer certification.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) language skills.
