Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team at LaCosta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vacuum trucks, ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a manual transmission commercial vehicle to transport equipment and personnel to job sites.
  • Load and unload hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for assigned jobs onto the truck.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following all policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment.
  • Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL with no automatic or manual restrictions.
  • Comfortable with extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, and being exposed to weather.
  • Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as safe use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Must wear LaCosta-provided uniform, steel-toed shoes, long pants, and any other required PPE.
  • Must remove all jewelry and accessories.
