About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and investigations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain safety records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in site safety management, incident investigation, and quality management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
