Job Summary

As a User Experience Researcher at Google, you will play a critical role in creating useful, usable, and delightful products. You will work with cross-functional teams to generate user insights that drive decisions on improving user support. Your research will span everything from high-level, strategic topics to usability testing.

Responsibilities

Design and conduct independent research to inform product decisions
Work with Product Support Managers, Product Managers, UXers, Engineers, Legal, and Program Managers to prioritize research opportunities and execute research
Provide thought leadership by identifying areas for growth and improvement to scale the program, including additional products, new methodologies, geographic expansion
Share research findings and represent our users to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar
Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills with the ability to take initiatives

What We Offer

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
