About the Role

As a Software Engineer III on the Core team at Google, you will play a critical role in building the technical foundation behind our flagship products. You will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves.

Responsibilities
  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
About the Team

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.

What We Offer

As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing large-scale infrastructure to building central solutions that break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. You will also have the chance to impact important technical decisions across the company.

We offer a competitive salary range of $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
