- Gather feedback from staff regarding HR initiatives and contribute to daily engagement activities.
- Facilitate orientation and onboarding processes, including conducting pre-employment screenings and leading orientation sessions.
- Support investigations by documenting findings, translating as necessary, and ensuring proper filing of records.
- Conduct audits of payroll and benefits programs, recommending improvements as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the HRIS system.
- Help prepare for performance evaluations.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, mailing, and filing documents.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, tracking candidate statuses and managing follow-up communications.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, or Administration within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record is necessary.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English and preferably another language (Spanish or Haitian Creole) is highly desired.
Mathematical SkillsCapability to perform basic mathematical operations and apply concepts such as fractions and percentages in practical scenarios.
Other Skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of human resource principles and practices.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to navigate through various departments within the organization.
