As a Dialysis Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse with Fresenius Medical Care North America, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease. Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including administering and monitoring dialysis treatments, and documenting patient information.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Educate patients and their families on end-stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)

Current appropriate State licensure

One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred

Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required

Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis

Successfully complete CPR Certification

Ability to provide coverage at area facilities during times of short-staffing or as required

Good communication skills, both verbal and written
