- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, including CLIA and CAP
- Develops and implements quality control and quality assurance programs
- Monitors and reports laboratory performance metrics
- Provides training and education to laboratory personnel
- Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science field
- 5 years of clinical laboratory experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience
- Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
- Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to delegate duties and maintain efficient standards of operation
The Clinical Laboratory Manager will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with moderate exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals. The ability to sit and stand/walk for up to 4 hours or more per day is required, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for 3 to 4 hours per day.
