Job Summary

We are seeking a top-performing Insurance Sales Representative to join our team-oriented sales department at Roberts Allstate Agency. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.

The successful Insurance Sales Representative will be responsible for soliciting new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources. They will also develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales. Additionally, they will maintain knowledge of new products and thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed new business production goals and objectives as established by management.
  • Solicit new business through various channels, including telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop and present insurance quotes, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, such as Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, and Auto Dealers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid driver's license.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Be highly self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be able to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
