Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Utility Technician to join our Biomed Center team. As a Utility Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the timely and efficient flow of biomedical devices and general handling of products. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support regulatory excellence by ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving, and storing of devices, supplies, and equipment.
  • Validate receipts to ensure accuracy and condition of devices and related items.
  • May be responsible for pick, pack, and shipment of orders in a warehouse environment.
  • May require forklift certification.
  • Ensure areas are clean to provide a safe and secure workplace.
  • Flexible and willing to assist with Biomed Center demands.
  • Responsible for meeting individual and department productivity goals.
Requirements
  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
Additional Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Prior work experience preferred in shipping/receiving.
  • Performs all job tasks at a high level of quality meeting or exceeding productivity expectations.
  • Maintains compliance with all applicable standards (SOPs and work instructions) in performing job duties.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Organized with strong time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to remain flexible and respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results.
  • Strong commitment to the McKesson i2Care and iLead principles.
  • Promotes a customer-patient centric culture.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+lbs.
