Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at The Essex Resort & Spa. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct system inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals to understand system designs and specifications.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used to ensure accountability and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide innovative solutions and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Valid HVAC technician certification (i.e. EPA 608 Certification).
  • Heat pump knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and operations.
  • Proficient in using HVAC tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
