About the Role

AXISCADES Inc. - North America Operations is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Sanford, NC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a 50/50 split between desk-based tasks and fieldwork, adapting to changing tasks and environments.
  • Collaborate with a team of 15-20 members and coordinate with other departments to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Work in a dynamic environment, splitting time between the shop floor and office settings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience with CREO/SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, or similar electronic drafting tools.
  • Knowledge of 6 Sigma project management principles and experience in designing logistics lifting tackles for forklifts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization, and communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
