We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process patient specimens for testing
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood counts, chemistry tests, and microbiology tests
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Perform instrument maintenance and calibration to ensure accurate test results
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM or registry eligible
- Minimum one (1) year of previous laboratory experience preferred
