Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Assistant to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing secondary machining operations, monitoring and running CNC screw machines, and ensuring the area is kept clean and safe to 5S standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform secondary machining operations, including grinding and turning
  • Monitor and run CNC screw machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Perform initial parts inspection to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Production tooling, grind basic turn tools, and maintain equipment
  • Clean and maintain CNC machine(s) to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure logs are kept current and area is kept clean and safe to 5S standards

Requirements:

  • Secondary machining operations experience
  • CNC screw machine operation skills
  • Initial parts inspection knowledge
  • Production tooling expertise
  • Basic tool grinding skills
  • CNC machine maintenance experience
