Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Inventory Management: Process all maintenance orders and maintain adequate inventory control within budgeted guidelines.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist management in the creation and implementation of an effective preventative maintenance plan, performing regular physical property inspections to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep.
  • Compliance and Safety: Monitor compliance with company SOPs and federal and state regulations, ensuring the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent level of competence in English and mathematics is required, technical school training strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience in multi-family housing maintenance or similar industry with 1 year of supervisory or coordination experience required.
  • Certifications: Certification or comparable experience in four or more trades including: plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, HVAC, and building construction.
  • Skills: Demonstrable expert-level knowledge and use of tools and equipment for specific trades, EPA Type I and II certification, and basic training for LBP and mold.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to organize individual and team activities to ensure operations are highly productive and meet or exceed business goals.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, conflict resolution, and staff development skills required.
