Lead Dental Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at Advantage Dental. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and education, while also supporting the training and development of other dental assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
  • Take and process X-rays as prescribed by the dentist, and enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files.
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories, and manage and supply orders and the coordination of lab cases.
  • Support the training and development of other dental assistants, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure an exceptional patient experience, productive schedules, and effective maintenance of the practice and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA, EDDA, EFODA) and DAANCE Certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a dental assistant.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and dental software.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
