Chemical Processing Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Chemical Processing Operator I-2 to join our team at Republic Services. This role is responsible for controlling and operating equipment and systems that treat hazardous and non-hazardable chemicals safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform sample testing and lab work, and execute chemical treatment required to meet discharge limitations.
- Load and unload bulk and containerized materials using light equipment.
- Operate chemical process equipment, filter presses, and filtration systems.
- Perform daily inspections of facility and storage tanks.
- Process inbound and outbound paperwork including customer manifests.
- Knowledge of heating/cooling, heat transfer/evaporation processes.
- Ability to use light equipment, such as forklift and pallet-jack.
- Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

Salary Information:The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
