Position Overview
The Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering (ECSE) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty role in Electrical Engineering at the Assistant Professor level.

Research Focus
This role is part of a strategic initiative involving several faculty appointments aimed at enhancing the field of human-technology interaction through the Human Fusions Institute (HFi). We are particularly interested in candidates specializing in robotics, with a focus on:
  • Robot perception
  • Machine vision
  • Machine learning
  • Robot autonomy

Desirable Expertise
We welcome applicants whose research intersects with shared autonomy, human-in-the-loop systems, assistive robotics, or intelligent multimodal robotic perception and manipulation.
