We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert patient care and support to families during this critical period.
About the Role:
- We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000-$140,000 per year, based on experience.
- This is a full-time position with a regular schedule, offering a great work-life balance.
- You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to neonates and their families, utilizing your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, gather data, and interpret results to inform evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a NICU or critical care setting is required.
- You must hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and be eligible for licensure in the state of Maine.
- A strong background in pediatrics and NICU care is essential.
