About the Role

FLEX College Prep is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Computer Science Instructors. As a Computer Science Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation of coders and innovators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive computer science lessons to students in grades K-8.
  • Create customized lesson plans and curriculum to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Assist students with coursework and provide individualized academic support.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and adapt instruction to meet the needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new curriculum and instructional strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Experience teaching computer science or data science courses, either formally or informally.
  • Experience teaching students through a remote platform.
