As a Student Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the McGovern Academy team at the University of Texas Medical Branch. To be eligible for this position, you must have a high school diploma and be enrolled at least half-time at UTMB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate meeting minutes from handwritten notes.
- Ensure the Hall of Medical History brochures are up-to-date and well-maintained.
- Organize and file materials in the McGovern Academy library.
- Monitor the Latch Key Room for cleanliness and organization.
- Manage office, storeroom, and Latch Key Room inventory.
- Assist with social media and website updates.
- Coordinate with food delivery staff and AV setup for meetings and conferences.
- Provide general support to the McGovern Academy staff as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience and contribute to the success of the University of Texas Medical Branch.
