Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team at Northridge, CA. This role involves designing, developing, and testing mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. You'll work with Java and Swift to develop object-oriented software components and ensure seamless integration with our backend services using RESTful APIs.

Main Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and at least two years of experience in Android or iOS development and testing. Key skills include:

  • Object-oriented software development using Java or Swift
  • MVC/MVVM, Singleton, and Factory design patterns
  • Data storage using mobile databases or persistence frameworks
  • Implementing continuous integration best practices
  • Bluetooth Low Energy, RESTful API, and cross-platform mobile frameworks (Flutter or React Native)

About the Role:

This is a full-time position located at Medtronic, Inc., 18000 Devonshire Street, Northridge, CA 91325. The salary range for this position is $145,500 to $180,000 per year.
