Teaching Opportunity with Sato

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English language teacher to join our team at Sato. As an Online English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to students aged 4-11 years based in China.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver interactive English lessons to students
  • Create a dynamic and fun classroom environment that fosters student engagement and motivation
  • Assess student performance, provide feedback, and grade homework assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
  • Accredited TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or TEYL certification
  • At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Native English speaker from the USA or Canada
  • Proficiency in computer skills and a clear criminal record
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Technical Requirements
  • PC specifications: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater, 8GB RAM or greater
  • Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of 4-5 hours (2000VA)
  • Internet connection: Stable fiber connection, minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speeds
  • Accessories: Noise-cancelling headsets, HD web camera, and a tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment

Position Details

Start Date: Immediate

Teaching Hours: Peak hours are Monday to Sunday 7 PM to 9 PM Beijing time. Extra hours can be taken on Saturdays and Sundays between 9 AM and 7 PM Beijing time

Students: Kids aged 4-11 years based in China

Class duration: 25 and 55 minutes (one-on-one classes)

Remuneration: Set base rate of 12 USD per hour

Location: Fully Remote
