Senior Mold Maker

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mold Maker to join our Tool Room team in Tennessee. As a Senior Mold Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, fine-tuning, and repairing injection molds.

• Interpret customer-supplied parts, drawings, and computer files to design and build high-quality injection molds.
• Utilize machine centers to achieve desired results and fabricate molds with precision and accuracy.
• Meet schedule commitments and fine-tune molds based on feedback from the molding department.
• Repair molds and conduct complicated mold maintenance as needed.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action reviews to assist production in troubleshooting.

• High school diploma and 10 years of injection molding tooling experience (layout and build).
• Computer literate/CAD literate and qualified on all tool room equipment.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, good math skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to quality, productivity, and team performance in the workplace.

Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting.

May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.

The following Personal Protective Equipment is required: safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection when on the manufacturing floor.
