Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures in the Emergency Department
  • Perform basic and complex patient care procedures, including vital signs and medication administration
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • One year of previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred
  • Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification at time of hire
  • ACLS certification (Advance Cardiac Life Support) at time of hire or within six months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months to one year of hire
