We are seeking a skilled ED Technician to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures in the Emergency Department.
- Perform basic and complex patient care procedures under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
- Provide effective communication and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred.
- One year of experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR certification at time of hire.
- ACLS certification (Advance Cardiac Life Support) at time of hire or within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months to one year of hire.
