Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with our patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.

You will also be responsible for:

• Assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow
• Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures
• Registering all related sales on assigned cash register and handling cash as required
• Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance of the Pharmacy Department
• Developing strong relationships with most valuable customers

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills
