Senior Engineer

Company Overview:

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading projects involving the inspection, disposition, modeling, and design calculations associated with multiple equipment lines. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical leader in the design, development, and analysis of product designs that meet the function, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements of RMS.
  • Continuously hone engineering skills to the highest level, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide guidance to lower-graded engineers, share knowledge, and serve as a mentor.
  • Lead engineering analyses for projects, including complex designs and advanced calculations.
  • Independently review inspection reports and render engineering dispositions in accordance with established standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • High proficiency with solid modeling software, computational analytical tools, and general office software.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
