Estimator - Commercial & Industrial HVAC.

Our client is a leader in the commercial-industrial HVAC construction industry and is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our estimation team. Their team collaborates closely with building owners and facilities managers to design and implement innovative, tailored HVAC solutions that meet the specific needs of each facility. From initial fabrication and manufacturing to installation and automation, we provide comprehensive design-build services that address building challenges, enhance efficiency, and reduce maintenance expenses.

Role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a competitive, team-oriented environment where you will be challenged and learn new skills. As an Estimator, you will be trained to evaluate bid plans, compile accurate equipment and material take-offs, and work with vendors and subcontractors to define work scopes and obtain proposals. Your contributions will be crucial in helping us successfully bid and win mechanical and/or plumbing projects.

What Makes You A Good Fit?

• Mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Adobe.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS / AAS in Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating bid plans and specifications.
• Performing and compiling accurate equipment and material take-offs.
• Working with outside vendors and sub-contractors to define work scopes and obtain proposals.
• Ensuring all information is accurately submitted to bid and win mechanical and/or plumbing projects.

Compensation & Location:
This position is on-site and will be based out of Olean, NY. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package for the successful candidate will be developed, including a base salary, 401K with company match, profit sharing, PTO, paid company holidays, and comprehensive health care benefits.
