We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for supporting senior brokers in initiating business development activities, taking initiative to outreach to new leads, and working on new business proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Attend JLL University (JLLU) training program to develop skills and knowledge in commercial real estate
- Support senior brokers in business development activities, including cold calls, warm calls, emails, and other outreach efforts
- Work with senior brokers on new business proposals, prepare property summary books, and create new business presentations
- Develop materials for clients, including lease comparisons, market overviews, and prospect or client presentations
- Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation
- Provide clients with industry and market-specific information and maintain contact information on prospects
- Contribute to local market research requests, including market snapshots, market overviews, and quarterly market decks
- Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models
- A minimum of years of commercial real estate or business-to-business sales experience
- Demonstrable success in business development and sales production
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
- State Real Estate License (must have within 90 days of hire)
- Previous experience in corporate real estate, consulting, or finance; understanding of real estate fundamentals is a plus
- Prefer a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related
