Position Summary
As a Land Surveying Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our projects by applying your expertise in surveying techniques and methodologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Evaluation: Independently assess, select, and implement standard surveying methods, utilizing your judgment to make necessary adjustments and modifications.
  • Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee detailed phases of surveying tasks within a major project or across multiple projects of moderate complexity.
  • Complex Surveying Tasks: Engage in work that encompasses conventional surveying practices while addressing a variety of intricate features.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain direct communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of surveyors, technicians, and other personnel involved in specific assignments.
  • Document Sealing: Ensure the sealing of professional surveying documents as required.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support project goals.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor Mapper in the state of Florida.
  • Experience in surveying and mapping, particularly in land and site development.
  • Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
