Procurement Coordinator Role at VEIR Corp

VEIR Corp is seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services necessary for our operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be experienced in procurement, and be a collaborative team member with strong service-orientation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing
  • Manage and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
  • Track and report on procurement metrics and performance indicators
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders to prevent shortages or overstock
  • Implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
  • Ensure all procured materials meet the required specifications and quality standards
  • Resolve any issues related to defective or substandard products
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Purchaser/Buyer, preferably in hardware manufacturing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of staff and with external stakeholders
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented with a positive approach to problem solving and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Highly organized, with a track record of developing and implementing efficient processes
